Acceptance of these terms

Opening and using this site means accepting the terms set out below. They cover the pages published under this domain, the forms on them and any message sent through those forms. Where a term is not acceptable, the site should not be used.

What this site is

This site publishes plain reading about Medicare coverage: what the parts pay for, when sign-up windows open and what to check before settling on a route. It is an information resource written to be understood without training.

It is not an insurer, not a government agency, and not connected to the Medicare program or any agency that runs it.

No advice and no enrollment

Nothing published here is advice on a particular situation, and nothing here enrolls anybody in anything. Sending a message is an inquiry about coverage information, not an application and not a change to any plan already held.

Decisions about coverage should be made against the paperwork issued by a plan or by the program itself, and where those documents differ from a page here, those documents govern.

Accuracy and change

The pages are written with care and reviewed as rules move. Even so, coverage rules, drug lists and plan terms change on their own schedule, and a page can fall behind between revisions. No promise is made that every statement is complete or current at the moment it is read.

Accounts

Where an account is created, the details given must be accurate and kept up to date, and the password must be kept private. Activity under an account is treated as the account holder's own. An account may be suspended where it is used in a way these terms do not allow.

Acceptable use

The site may be read, printed and shared for personal use. It may not be scraped in bulk, copied wholesale onto another site, used to send unsolicited messages, probed for weaknesses or interfered with in any way that degrades it for other readers.

Submissions must not be false, must not impersonate another person and must not contain material that is unlawful or harmful.

Messages and consent

Consent boxes on the signup form are optional and are recorded as they were left. Service messages and marketing messages are separate permissions, neither of them a condition of use. Message frequency varies, standard message and data rates may apply, and replying STOP ends the messages.

SMS Terms & Conditions

By submitting your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive automated SMS text messages from ArcaMedics at the number provided. Messages may include transactional communications (such as account updates, request status, or verification codes) and, where you have separately opted in, marketing messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS messages is not required to purchase any product or service.

Reply HELP at any time for assistance. Reply STOP at any time to cancel and opt out of further messages. You can also email harold23@arcamedics.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line to opt out of non-essential communications. Opting out of marketing messages does not affect transactional messages required for your account, request, or verification process.

Our text messaging service supports the following carriers: AT&T, Boost, MetroPCS®, Sprint, T-Mobile®, US Cellular®, Verizon Wireless, Virgin Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

Ownership of content

The text, layout, images and code on this site are protected and remain the property of their owner. Short quotations with a link back are welcome. Republishing whole pages, or reworking them into a competing resource, is not.

Links to other sites

Where a link points somewhere else, that destination is run by somebody else under its own terms and its own privacy practices. Those pages are not controlled here and no responsibility is taken for what they contain.

Availability

The site is offered as it stands. Pages may be edited, moved or withdrawn, and access may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside anyone's control. No promise of uninterrupted availability is given.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for loss arising from the use of this site or from reliance on anything published on it, including coverage chosen, costs incurred or a window missed. The reading is a starting point, and the paperwork issued by a plan is the record that binds.

Changes to these terms

These terms are revised as the site develops. The date at the top shows when the current version was published, and continuing to use the site after a revision means the current version applies.
